Bloodshot is a 2020 American super weapon film based on the heroic Comics personality of the same name. It is designed to be the first introduction in a series of films set within a heroic Comics shared cinematic universe. Conducted by David S.F Wilson from a screenplay by Jeff Wadlow and Eric Heisserer and a story line by Wadlow. It follows a Marine who was murdered in action, only to be brought back to life with superpowers by an association that wants to use him as a weapon.
Advancement of a Bloodshot film began in 2012, with Jared Leto originally in talks to star in July 2017. In March 2018, Diesel was appointed to portray the main role, and the rest of the cast joined up over the following months. Filming executed in South Africa in August 2018, lasting through October.
Bloodshot was published in the United States on March 13, 2020, by Sony Pictures Releasing. The film got generally mixed reviews from critics and has grossed $29 million worldwide. Due to the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic closing theaters across the globe, Sony made the film accessible digitally on-demand less than two weeks after it was published theatrically.
It was announced in March 2012 that Columbia Pictures had accomplished the film rights to the heroic Comics character Bloodshot.Jeff Wadlow was to be appointed to write the screenplay.Sony Pictures, Original Film and Valiant announced in April 2015 a five-picture deal to bring Valiant Comics' superheroes to the big screen, including Bloodshot. Chad Stahelski and David Leitch were appointed to direct the film, from a screenplay by Wadlow and Eric Heisserer. Stahelski and Leitch were finally authorized on the project.Dave Wilson was announced in March 2017 as the director of the film. Screenwriter Adam Cozad after that contributed to the script.

Story:
After leading a successful extrication operation in Mombasa, U.S. Marine Ray Garrison and his wife Gina go for a holiday at an Italian beachside town on the Amalfi Coast. However, they are kidnapped by a group of mercenaries guided by Martin Axe, who orders them to know the source of the Mombasa hostage operation. Since Ray is not privy to these facts, Axe kills him and Gina.
Ray is later revived by Rising Spirit Tech, a company that specializes in advancing cybernetic enrichments for disabled US military personnel. The company's CEO, Dr. Emil Harting, says Ray is the first successful candidate that they have revived using a special nanite technology. Ray is also met by Dr Harting's other patients including former US Navy diver "KT".After receiving "flashbacks" of Gina and Axe, Ray escapes Rising Spirit's laboratory in Kuala Lumpur and pursues Axe, waiting to avenge Gina's death. After entrapping his convoy in a tunnel, Ray kills Axe's bodyguards before getting the mercenary. He is later retrieved by KT, Dalton and Tibbs, who bring him to Rising Spirit for reprogramming.
After his memories are deleted and reprogrammed, Ray is gone to kill Nick Baris in East Sussex, "remembering" him to be Gina's murderer. Though Ray manages to murder Baris and his bodyguards, Baris has forced computer programmer Wilfred Wigans to create an EMP bomb, which is lighted after Baris' death. After "reviving" Ray, Wigans reveals that the Rising Spirit placed false memories to turn him into a killing machine. Ray confirms Gina is alive but had left him five years ago and built up a family in Westminster.
After that,Ray was brought back to Rising Spirit's laboratory for rebuilding, but escape with the help of KT and Wigans, who sabotaged the reprogramming process and Rising Spirit's computers Breaking free, Ray rivals Dalton and Tibbs on top of an elevator.After killing Dalton and Tibbs, Ray counters Harting, who manages to channel the nanites. Ray killed Harting. Later Ray is rebuilt by Wigans and KT, and the three then search for a new life.
